Did anyone have brown spotting early on?

I had a speck of brown spotting last night on the T.P. and another speck just now. It is barely anything, but I am worried.

If it is brown, it usually means old blood. You don't have to worry about brown as much as bright red.

I had spotting early with all of my kids.....maybe just try to take it easy today. Click here to enlarge

I think you should call your ob just to be safe. They may want to see you if it happens any more.

I hope everything is fine and dandy.Click here to enlarge

Brown blood is old blood. If you will feel better, call your OB or midwife and get her opinion. I have had brown blood mean something and not mean something during a pregnancy.

I called and they sent me to the lab to get a BETA done and I have to go back on Thursday as well.

The good news is, haven't seen anymore spots!

I know I don't post in here, but saw this thread.

Brown blood ended up being issues in two of my pgs.

I agree with Ima, call the doc at a minimum. Click here to enlarge Hope all is well.

I had that with both pregnancies. It was early on and I thought they were light periods. Hopefully, eveything is just fine and dandy with you like it was with me. Click here to enlarge

I had it in my pregnancy with Athena. I freaked out and cried and was so sure I was miscarrying, but it turned out to be nothing at all. Something I'd done the day before it started, that hadn't seemed overly exerting to me, had irritated my cervix and had caused the light bleeding.

Glad you called your OB, though. I think you're supposed to see your care provider anytime you see any sort of blood, just to be safe.
