So here's a cut and paste of what happened today. I can't sit more than a few minutes without my back killing me so typing is a bad thing right now.

Good news is I gained a pound and I passed my 1 hour. Bad news is my blood pressure was pretty high. High enough the nurse went and got the doctor right away. They checked it twice to make sure the reading was correct and apparently it was. (my hands and feet were a little puffy too) They wouldn't tell me what it was because my OB said she didn't want me to start panicking. Which is probably a good thing. She asked if my vision was blurry at all, or I was having more problems with headaches/ migraines/ stomach trouble. I told her about my back and she was upset with me that I didn't call them on Christmas Eve. Blahhh no way was I spending Christmas Eve in L&D.. no spank you very much. I almost got sent to L&D anyway for monitoring. I told her I had an appointment for a massage and a pedicure tomorrow morning so she better not keep me overnight. .

So anyway, I have to go back next Tuesday for a quick blood pressure check and u/s. And if I have ANY back trouble I am to call ASAP. She said at the very least they could bring me into L&D and give me a shot of terb and a muscle relaxer to help my back. She also told me that if my back doesn't start getting better we may have to think about some physical therapy. I guess the worry now is that the more pain I'm in the more likely my body is to go into labor.

At least I'm in the home stretch right? Come on February...
