Owen's room

We still need to do corner trim (hence the towels under the furniture, to make it slide when we are ready to get into the corners), and get a few things like changing pad covers and a lampshade Click here to enlarge But I'll probably never get around to taking pics again so here it is Click here to enlarge I love it. I have the PBK Twinkle Twinkle bedding (minus the quilt) and OMG it is so nice. Of course the bumper will be removed when the baby starts moving, but for now it's there to look pretty Click here to enlarge I've had the furniture and Mr. Moon/the stars since I got pg w/Zach, I'm so happy to be using them again.

That looks great! I'm jealous. I wish I could start on Addison's nursery.

Very nice, MM. Click here to enlarge One question, though...I'm not really nitpicking but I notice these things being a drapery seamstress...do you have the rod going through the header of the green curtains or is there only just a rod pocket? I like how it looks if there is just a rod pocket, but I hate hate hate it when someone's curtains are hanging off the header and there is a whole 'nother seam just hanging there in space. Click here to enlarge

I love green and blue together.

Click here to enlarge There is only one seam, but it's a big one. It could handle a larger rod, but I just got a simple two-fer to hang them at the same exact level. I actually looked for a double seamClick here to enlargecket b/c I have been known to screw it up before.

Ah, ok. Click here to enlarge It's a great room, though, it really is. I love the wood and the style of the furniture.

Thanks, everyone Click here to enlarge I already had the blue paint done from when we moved in 5 years ago b/c we had the moon/etc for Zach at the time. I just think the beadboard made a huge difference over the wallpaper we had. I also have the furniture placed a little differently, it's crazy what a few minor changes will do.

Beagle, I'll see if my uncle is free, just let me know when Click here to enlarge He did the manual labor. He's close to you, actually, in PBG.
