spotting question

very faint pink spotting 1x last night - just on the toilet paper. sigh. i called the dr on call today and he said that its very common and to just come in to my normal appt on thurs unless it happens again... then they'll get me in that day. has anyone else had that ever?

I had that with my ds and dd and was told it was normal. Also, a co-worker had that as well and a lot more than your describing.

It's hard to not worry though. I'm sorry! Click here to enlarge

I had a lot of spotting with James & with Linus. With James it was because his placenta was close to my cervix in the beginning--as my uterus grew, it took the placenta farther up. With Linus they never found any reason for it at all.

I always tell this story...I bled for six weeks with Evren...full blown period style. He's just fine and poking my meatball daily. Try not to worry!

Did you have sex yesterday? Do any heavy lifting? Anything out of the ordinary?

Your cervix is much more sensitive when you're pregnant, dum, so even ordinary sex can irritate it and cause some spotting.

Click here to enlarge yes, i realize that. but i guess i think "why now?!!" why after 2 pregnancies with countless sex and no spotting, etc would that 1 time have made me spot? but its all unpredictable obviously.

ok my next question is - am i supposed to do anything different for a few days? like relax? or can i go to the gym as normal?
