Strollers

You know me and strollers Click here to enlarge

I want one of those nifty convertible ones - that can face rear or forward. Any suggestions?

This stroller looks like this as the standard (not the standard color though)

http://www.mountainbuggy.com/catalog/buggies/

And if you want, you can buy the cot for the itty bitty baby, and the cot goes on the frame of the above

http://www.mountainbuggy.com/catalog/carrycots/

and/or you could get the converter for the carseat carrier instead of the cot

Wow, those are steep, but you gave me an idea. I'm wondering now about those frames I see people pushing their carseats around on.

Holy frijoles, these strollers cost more than my first car. Click here to enlarge

We were going to try and get a new one, but I think we'll just tune up the Peg Perego we've been using for the better part of a decade. My kids are always anti-stroller til they're toddlers anyway (pro-sling and Bjorn), so that makes it harder to justify the cost too.

I can't wait to see which fancypants one you pick!

Huh, it never occurred to me that a child of mine might not like being in a stroller Click here to enlarge Maybe I will wait and see what kind of kid this is. My first son HATED the bjorn with a white hot pasion. This time I have a Maya sling on hand, and am thinking about getting an ergo carrier.

I have one from Kolcraft and it was 129.00 or something. Not blingy, but it works well and I can flip it from front to back. I haven't used it in a while, but Owen will still ride in it and we used it for a lot of walks to school.

That one looks great! Love the price. Worried about the 40 lb weight limit. My kid might exceed that within the first couple of months Click here to enlarge

The maya wrap kicks so much ass, you will love it. Hopefully you're kid will feel the same way. Click here to enlarge
I used to stuff dd in that thing, get a boob in her mouth and we'd go to ds's soccer games, stores, restaurants, dinner parties, you name it it. All anyone saw of her for the first 4 months was her little arm sticking out of the side. Click here to enlarge

Oooh - we have a ton of Citi Thank you points and they have that one available. Maybe I can convince the hubby that we could use the points to get it.

I still need a nice jogger. I want either a Bob Duallie or a P&T sport, but recently I saw a Schwinn one that looked good too for cheaper. I don't have any stores near me that sell them though and I don't want to order unless I try them out.

So far I have a Graco Duo Glider, the single Graco, a Chicco lightweight and a Jeep lightweight double. None of these are fancy shmancy ones though and all very cheap Click here to enlarge

okay let me explain it to you Click here to enlarge i love ours - but there are some things people may not like.
1. you can't pack it up without taking the seats off. it takes literally 2 seconds and its so nice for cleaning bc you can pop them off and shake them out.
2. its heavy. like 50lbs. does it bother me? no. have i ever said "OMG its so heavy!!" no.
3. no trays. sometimes this is annoying, but they just stick their cups next to them.

but its SO NICE for the girls to face e/o. they can entertain themselves Click here to enlarge

and its great for newborns bc your bucket seat can sit in the spot closest to you and face you.

www.Click here to enlargebargains.com check them out, they feature fantastic deals on everything including strollers. I think there is a new forum on there for upcoming stuff but I'm not sure? I bought our baby carrier from them and they were ubber helpful. I called on a whim that they might have some left over stock. They had 3 for super cheap so I was able to snag one. I don't remember the brand but its like the ergo
