Membranes were stripped..

But I seriously doubt that anything will happen because of it. Click here to enlarge I've had it done with three out of four of my other pregnancies and it only worked once, so the odds are against me.

I don't go back to the doctor until NEXT Tuesday which happens to be my official due date.

I will not be pregnant after September 1 (I'm going to schedule an induction at next week's appointment) so there is an end in sight. Click here to enlarge

Ouch! I remember that hurting like a mo-fo! Click here to enlarge It worked for me though. I was 5 days over due with dd and they wanted to induce b/c of her size. They stripped me that morning and I was in active labor that evening.

Good luck!!

Having my membrane's stripped was never painful for me. It was more like "eh, pinch" when my OB did it. When my midwife did it, she took about 20 minutes, so I lay there and we had a conversation with her hand up my vagina. She stretched me from a 2 to a 4. I went into labor 56 hours later...i don't think it did anything.

Mine were stripped the first time and I went into labor about 24 hours later. So there's still hope...we need a "fingers crossed" smilie.
