If your back/hips are killing you

like mine were/are, I found a maternity belt that actually works. It was $40, but once I figured the damn thing out it was instant relief. Click here to enlarge

I had/used one like that last pregnancy- it rolled a bit around my gigantic hips and ass, but did provide amazing support.

I have one like that and it was only $20. I can only wear it a little around the house though, because I get overheated so easily, and that only adds to my discomfort.

My back is really killing me lately. I doubt I could find one of those belts that actually fits my hugeness though Click here to enlarge I don't really have a baby belly yet, just a gunt.

I do need to figure out this back thing though. Anyone tried prenatal massage or a chiropractor or something? I can barely make it through the night and I'm only 21 weeks Click here to enlarge

My cousin loved her chiro when she was pregnant. I have considered it a time or two with this pregnancy, but am too big of a cheapskate to pay the $35 co-pay.

I did chiro and massage with my first and my third. I have been meaning to get in this time, but just... haven't. Click here to enlarge I liked it.

You need to evaluate your sleep set up- you probably aren't properly supporting your changing weight distribution. You don't have the muscle memory to support it because it is changing so rapidly, so you need external support, like more pillows. There is a video... hang on... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDTbi4Xb5ec

Oh, and that support belt would fit you just fine, if I recall previous postings about your size. Very stretchy, and you aren't like a super-sized human, even if you are overweight.

Thanks terra, I watched the video and holy hell she is using like 6 pillows! I will try that tonight. My problem at night is that I can only stay in one position for a short time before my back feels like swiss cheese so I keep turning an turning all night long.

As for the belt, I am a size 28 in pants and about 260lbs so I think I actually do qualify for super-size Click here to enlarge
