Normal, right?

I've noticed a real decrease in movement/kicks over the past two days and we couldn't find the heartbeat on the fetal doppler last night. Is it possible he/she had just changed position?

Probably. Will your doctor humor you and let you come in to check it out? My doctors were always happy to reassure me about anything and everything.

Yup, my doc is pretty good about that but it's a pain getting out to see him because he only works days so it means taking time off work.

Oddly enough, I got some good kicks this morning minutes after posting this Click here to enlarge

Good to hear! I used to poke James through my belly, because he was a quiet sleepy baby, always freaking me out with his non-kickyness.

Izzy wasn't a heavy kicker and sometimes the only way I could get her to move was if I was driving around listening to music.

How far along are you again? Babies do tend to have quiet days.
