just found out that i am pregnant

I am 39 years old. I am excited and happy on one hand. Terrified and scared on the other. I hope it sticks. I hope it is healthy. I am only about 2 weeks. The other complications are I am still married and my divorce is in hopeless limbo right now and SO and I cannot move in together for a few months at least,. Crap timing; a lot of loose ends but I absolutely love him and I would love to have 2 more kids. I haven't told anyone in real but had to get it out somewhere!!!!

Holy Moly Click here to enlarge you are brave. Congrats! Make sure the ex signs off on the baby, if you are still married to him, it is legally his baby. This happened to my friends mom, the husband was trying to be a funny dick and say that he wouldn't sign off so she sent him papers for child support. He signed off real quick. Click here to enlarge

That stinks strangest Click here to enlarge, however, the court won't care. You may want to consult a lawyer soon to get this sorted out.

I'll just put my boyfriend on as the father on the birth certificate and as far as court is concerned what they don't know won't matter.

I am waiting at least until I have all the testing done to make sure the baby is ok before involving the kids.(depending when I start showing Click here to enlarge) They are going through enough with their dad. I don't want to get their hopes up if there is something wrong.

I really do think you should consult an atty though on what was referenced above, no need for borrowed trouble that you might not even be aware of, stupid laws and all that horse shit.

Congrats!!!!!!!

Congratulations! It will be exciting to extend your family with your new SO. I would also consult an attorney. I could just see your stbx-mil causing a problem for you even if your dh doesn't. Click here to enlarge

Congrats SA.

I agree on consulting an attorney, I believe that in some states, regardless of who you list on the birth certificate its actually the person you are married to who is considered the father legally. Of course, I am not an attorney and only remember this from some family drama way back.
