So my job loaned me a lap top. I was under the impression I would be able to keep it forever, but now they need it back, which is fine because I am getting a new PC finally, but I have been doing some thing I should not have been doing if I have to give it back. Whoops

So I know if I go to add/delete programs it will erase all the features I have downloaded (Morpheus, OpenMG MP3, MSN and my WebCam) but will it totally erase it, or will little traces be left over.

I THINK I know how to fully clear cache and cookies, but if someone could give me a step by step that would be great. I would hate for them to take the laptop into a classroom and the dildo sites I have looked at pop up!

What kind of laptop.

I have a dell with windows xp. I have the disk to redo it so I can wipe all traces off.

IBM has a feature that restores the laptop to an earlier date and wipes all traces of that off also.

To clear all cookies

Go to my computer

the C: drive

windows

temp internet files and select all and delete.

Then go to cookies select all and delete.

Then go empty your trash bin and restart the puter.

If you want to remove the files or programs that you have installed go to control panal and add remove programs remove them then empty trash bin and restart.
