Fitness Suggestion for Kids

I know this is the age of technology, however, I remember the days when kids were outside playing, running around and building forts. My seven year old is very content with sitting inside watching movies, playing on the computer or coloring.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to get her "up and moving"? Are there any good kid exercise/activity programs that I can get her into?

Thanks!

My biggest fear is that there is no PMS and that this is my personality.

Many of the games on the Wii are active if you have one. Most game systems have dance games that are fun also.

You can make them earn minutes doing sedentary activities by doing physical activities.

I'm the Mom, I turn off the TV-have parenting controls on the computers (it logs them off after a certain amount of time) and I go out with them. I think Mom and Dad (or other adult) playing with them makes all the difference.
