I am not a long time member.(a couple days ago) and i have never posted anything on this sight. I had a special needs child with 4p- (wolfhurshorn) and 8q+. They are 2 chromosome disorders. I was a full time mom for his for 4 years. He died in 2003 from renal failure. This chromosome disorder runs in my husbands family and we are currently pregnant again.(with unknown results) I know alot about the system and resourses out there for people with special needs children in michigan. I would like to help people as much as possible. I know it can be hard to get help and emotional support when you have a special needs child.
