Julia was 2 1/2, too. Except one day I just said "Honey, there is no more milk in mommy's mimis. You are a big girl and you don't need mimis anymore." and that was it. She did say "Can I just hold the mimis?" and so she went to sleep with me leaning over her toddler bed, holding on to my boob, for like a week.
