This is what I am making for dinner.
Forgot to add some details: saute diced bacon (I add a bit of minced onion and garlic toward the end of browning). Once bacon is somewhat crisp, pour around a half cup of cx broth or white wine and scrape off the good bits off the bottom of the pan. Let simmer for a few.

It's just bacon, white wine or cx broth, mixed with cooked spag. While the spag cooks I use some of the pasta water to temper a beaten egg. Toss with cooked pasta and bacon mixture, and season with chopped parsley, parm cheese, salt and pepper.Posted 01-07-2009 at 02:54 PM by tomatohead -
