Just plain fun, lots of it tongue planted firmly in cheek. Recommended for Harry Potter fans especially. :love

Thanks for all the rep and for liking my av, it cracks me up too. We were taking pictures of the older three after their Christmas concert and the youngest jumped in.

I can't remember who recommended Armand Gamache books. I was thinking it was a SM, someone Canadian, but I can't locate it so maybe it was someone's book blog. Though work has really taken away any time I have to read book blogs.

You know Zea, I think for younger readers I'd prefer The Giver, but for us older younger readers I have to stick with Ender

Of course! I did like this one better than the first. The three graces seemed very real.

Alison Weir writes two kinds of history. Biographical and Historical fiction based on fact. Both are very very good. She is one of my favorite authors for this subject.

Replying again to my rep, I was the same in my reactions to Durzo and Azoth. Azoth becomes Kylar Stern. The names are addressed later in the series, if not the first book. I love seeing that you reacted similarly to me though.

Zea, if you try out the Mark of the Lion series, definitely let me know what you think.

...it's bad enough that I have a regular blog that I don't keep up, now I have this one, too?

But at least I could just fill this one up with smilies.
