A Research Project into Eating Patterns and Parental Well-Being

You are invited to participate in a short study conducted by Dr Seage (Cardiff Met) and Dr Reynolds (Middlesex Univ). The study investigates predictors of eating habits in children aged 18 months to -8 years old. The project has received approval from ‘Cardiff School Health Science Research Ethics Committee and Middlesex University Ethics Committee.
What you will do:
You will complete a short online questionnaire (approx. 15min) which asks you to answer questions about your child (or children’s) eating behaviour. You will also be required to complete a number of measures that look at your own wellbeing.
Participants must be over 18 to be eligible to take part in this study and you must have at least one child aged 18months - 8 years old.
You must not have a history of disordered eating and your child (children) must not have a health condition that impacts on their eating behaviour (e.g. ASD, Diabetes, food intolerance)
Participation in the study is voluntary and all data collected is anonymised. Only the researcher will have access to the data collected in this study. The data collected in this study may be used for publication. By completing this questionnaire you are consenting to taking part in the research study
