Treatment for autistic children

Hi,

I have a 5-year-old son who was diagnosed with mild autism. My husband and I think that we are blessed to know this in the initial stage. We are very much sad and worried. We have to give him good treatments before it gets worse. When I searched for some YouTube videos, I heard about occupational therapy.

And I had decided to take my son to a place providing children's occupational therapy services in Toronto. It is near to our house. Before going there, I would like to know suggestions. Which treatment is the best for curing autism? Occupational therapy or any other? Had anyone gone through the same situation as me? Please share your genuine opinions and suggestions.

Thank you.
