dammitjannet I do and I don't pump. When I had my first I hated pumping, mostly bc I didn't get much milk, at best 2oz. I tried again with my 2nd. It's too much anxiety and not enough milk that I don't even bother. Sorry, not much help, am I?

Exactly. Last time I pumped 4 x a day at first (working 8-5) and then down to 3 x when she was on solids.

Nodakbabe That looks great! I'm down to pumping once on my 8 hours shifts, at lunch break, and getting less than I used too(but, DS is 11 months old now, and not nursing as much as before)

Melody thanks for the reassurance, Strange. i'm new to this breastfeeding stuff and am always wondering if i'm doing it wrong, lol.

Strange I think you are doing fine. dd cluster nursed like that for me the entire time she breastfed.

a 20 oz stash for you is 2-3 days. that is good.

if I needed more I would throw in a pump session during the weekend or pump before I went to bed.

if you work and pump

how often do you pump and how much do you get per session? i know everyone will have a different output, but i'm wondering what others get. i'm so worried i'm doing this wrong and a few weeks down the road my supply is going to drop off. M is also starting to sleep at least 6 hours straight at night, sometimes longer. can someone give me some thoughts on this schedule?

-bf M between 5-7am
-pump at work 3 hours from whenever she ate last. i usually get a total of 3-4 oz. from both sides.
-pump at work 3 hours from the last pumping session (even if its right before i go home). i usually get 2-3 oz. from both sides during this session.
-M has two 3 oz. bottles while i'm gone between 8 and 2.
-M normally nurses 3-4 times before going down between 8 and 9pm.
-since she's sleeping so long, when M wakes up between 3 and 5am, i feed her on one side and pump my engorged side, getting exactly 3 oz. every time.

i have a bit of milk frozen, but we've been giving her fresh milk. like right now, there is 20 oz. of milk in the fridge plus her two 3 oz. bottles made for tomorrow.

thoughts? (other than i should just relax and quit worrying)
