Yes, that was how I felt; I teared up in places as well. It was a bit too predictable but overall I really liked it. Will see again

Olive we are going tonight. thankfully when we buy our tickets, we get to choose our seats, so no waiting in line at all.

i hated the last 3 so much, and i was not looking forward to this one. i wanted to wait until i'd read some reviews indicating it would at least be marginally better than the last 3. i'm not a huge star wars fan, but i still enjoyed the first 3. going tonight is mostly for ken.

TXchick Yes, that's who it is. I don't watch anything Star Trek.

Nodakbabe Simon Pegg...i'm assuming that's who you mean(scotty in the new star trek films)

AMG I loved all but one part of it. And that part has been explained to me ad nauseum by my nerdy boys. I don't care, I still don't like it.

TXchick And did y'all know Daniel Craig is a Stormtrooper? Along with some other Simon guy I don't know about. But I can't say which one without a spoiler, so...

TXchick We just got home. I looooved it! I got teary three times, there were a couple of plot points you could see coming from the other end of the galaxy, and it was really funny, and did I mention I looooved it?!?

TXchick A lot of my students saw it last night, and they keep wanting to talk about it!
I may have threatened some of them with lunch detention if they didn't be quiet.

SquigSoup My husband went last night, I'm fairly certain he's going to make us all go soon. He was practically vibrating when he came home.

Shmi We're going on Christmas day as it's pretty much the ONLY day that all five of us are free. LOL I'm putting the tickets in their stockings so it will be a total surprise. I can't wait until they open those!
