Susie I'm really sorry you had to go through this. PCOS can be a real pain! You don't have to worry so much, though. You've still got a great chance of getting pregnant. You should visit a fertility clinic, right away. They'll suggest you either IUI or IVF. That will be dependent on your situation. I hope this helps you! Good luck, honey.

Hannah Hi love, I hope you are doing fine. Well, you don't need to worry. This problem has been increasing day by day. I have seen so many people suffering from PCOS. I myself have been suffering from this ailment. Due to which doctors have declared me infertile. I was very disappointed at first. But my husband is such a nice person. He always supports me. We have consulted with some experienced doctors. Everyone says that we just need to be strong. Because now we have a number of ways to deal with it. So I am planning to go for the treatment. I suggest you should also go for the check-up and start your treatment asap. I hope everything goes fine for you.

Michelle9 Hey, honey. How are you? I hope you're alright. I am so sad! This honestly broke me. I can't believe you had to go through this. It's such tough luck. You don't deserve this honey. I really hope things get better for you. You should instantly consider IVF. You really shouldn't make the mistake that I made. And that was, wasting time. It's the worst thing you could do. Good luck to you! My prayers are with you. I really hope your infertility journey is short and successful!

monika Hey, I can understand how you might be feeling. I have been diagnosed with a poor ovarian reserve. It can get really hard! My advice to you would be to not lose hope. There are fertility treatments available now from which you can now opt. Just make sure to always research. I am visiting a clinic which is arranging an event about educating and helping couples about infertility. I would suggest that you attend this.

emily Hello, First, you have to notice that are you having a regular period if not kindly mark all the dates when you are having your periods. You should know that when you are ready to conceive and when is your next period and how regular are they. This is a good time for being pregnant. The next you should do is always having a proper diet filled with healthy vitamins and fibers. A balanced and healthy diet keeps your hormones balanced. You can do some intense body exercise which will surely help you to maintain your health from inside out. If you still find problems in conceiving consult a gynecologist so that fast actions can be taken. Best of luck for future.

monika Your grandmother had the problem but she was able to conceive. Therefore, yes the problem does have a solution. You should get worried at all. Start TTC and if you are unable to conceive naturally then consult your doctor. He will give you the right medication to help you out. However, if that doesn't work don't worry. As now the technology had immensely improved. As now you can go for assisted conceptions as well. As I have currently opted for surrogacy.

jenny5 Hi sweetheart! I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. It breaks my heart to read your story. I know it's not easy. I understand that you are going through a lot of pain. But trust me, everything will be okay. You are very lucky that your husband is with you. I am happy that he supported you in this situation. Not everyone is so lucky. You should be grateful and happy for that. Once you get married, you can then TTC again. I will pray that things work out then. Even if they don't, you still have other options like surrogacy, IVF etc. You should never lose hope. I'm sure you'll get better as time will pass by. Sending baby dust your way.

MaryHannah Hi there hon! I am so sorry for what you are going through. PCOS is really a terrible disease. It takes away the best thing in life. The chance of becoming a mother. But don't worry, In this modern era of technology and medicine no disease is incurable. You should take metformin. It will help you. Or visit a fertility clinic and go for assisted conception. Just don't give up. Much Love!

Molly748 Hi there, hope you're doing fine. I am so sorry to hear that you diagnosed PCOs. Hey don't worry, it is okay you can have your cysts removed and after the surgery, you'll be completely good to be able to conceive. Or if something doesn't work out then you can go for IVF as it is a great way to conceive. Keep us updated on how it goes. Best of luck

I and my fiance will plan to tie a knot this coming December. Our relationship grows fonder every day. Until last month I was diagnosed to have PCOS. I am not aware that I have that illness before. All I just know that my grand mother has the same illness. Do you think it is due to genes? I mean hereditary. But I am aware that I have an irregular menstrual cycle. As far as I remember long ago, five months passed that "Aunt Flo" never visited me. Today, I am very worried. My fiance knows that I have it. The doctor tells us not to worry because we still have the chance of bearing a child. I mean to build a family soon. But as a woman, I could not keep myself calm. Do you have any experience with this illness and still have a baby? Please advise me.
Oh, Heyyy dear! Well, I just go to know about your whole situation...well, I think the doctor is right! I also have PCOS. But, I think mine is not hereditary. So, yeah! I'm still able to conceive but through an IVF, for which I've sent my case to a repro center in Ukraine for IVF dates. So, yeah! I think you should also try it! So, what does your doctor say? Like, he said you still have a chance...Well, don't get worried! Just keep going with your OBS! Plus, if you're not satisfied, just take another opinion from another doctor. xx

jenny5 Hi dear, how are you? Firstly, congratulations on tying the knot with your boyfriend. This is an amazing news. Talking about your health problem, I am sorry to hear that. I know it's a little sad to know this. But I guess it is not such a big problem. As your doctor says, you have many chances to conceive. Try to do regular exercise. This will help you to lose your weight and balance your hormones. Thus, it will help to increase your chances of conceiving. Make sure to have a proper diet. Be careful not to get overweight. You're lucky that your boyfriend still supports you. Just stay strong and be happy! I wish you all the best in your future.

kylie Hey. Don't you worry. A lot of women have this condition. The key to staying fit in this disorder is to stay healthy as much as you can. Keep your diet a healthy one. If you don't take care of your diet, you might just gain a lot of weight. Get enough sleep. Make daily work out a habit. Do these things and you are good to go. You can get pregnant naturally. But the chances are low. So if you try to conceive and nothing happens, you can always consider IVF. IVF works for almost all women who have PCOS. A friend of mine was just diagnosed with this disorder. She has been trying to get pregnant. Her doctor suggested IVF so she is going for it now. There's this very reliable clinic in Ukraine. She plans on going there for her process. There's always a way honey. So dont ever lose hope and worry.

RitaSands Well, Hey! Your case is pretty same as mine. I also have this PCOS! But, I got to know too late. I started knowing about it even after a few years of my marriage. It really wasted a lot of time for me. So, yeah! Well, now I'm booked for an IVF later this year a repro center in Ukraine. Because I've had MCs due to my PCOS. I've not been able to conceive through naturally. Just wish me all the best! Well, dear! But you still have time. Try having treatments...There are some conditions women do conceive naturally in it. But still, don't waste more years. Stay blessed. xx

uniquely As the doctor said, it can be treated. I have friend who was in the same situation. The only difference is that she only found out after she got married because they were trying to make a baby but unsuccessful for 6 months of trying. She had some lab test and treatments and after a few months, she got pregnant. So just keep positive, do what the doctor is recommending to be able to address your PCOS.

poojagupta98 Hi Dear, First of all, I am so sorry that you have this illness. I know how much it affects one women's life because I have been through the same illness and am still coping with it. I would also say that perhaps you are very brave to still thinking about having a baby! You must never leave hope. But it is also a very poor thing that you ignored your health issues for a very long time even when your body was giving you clear signs of it. Being women I understand all the pressure you might be feeling. And you are lucky that you have figured your illness relatively earlier than many women with the same disease. I was married 5 years and have been trying for a baby ever since when I came to know about having PCOS. Of course, doctors were afraid that I may never have a baby by myself and everyone told us to go or adoption. But I am so lucky to have come across my doctor, who brought hope to my life again. She told me the first step towards it will be to stay positive and attract positive. Positive Vibes has a real effect on life. I started staying happy, with happy thoughts and eventually a happy body. Along with the support of my family, husband, and friends plus the medications, I was altogether a happy person again, and, meanwhile, I and my husband were still trying for a baby. This is a miracle for me what I am about to say next but trust me it happened and can happen with you, too if you keep your faith up and stay positive, after about a couple of years I was impregnated. Today, my daughter is 5 years old and completely healthy and I am second time pregnant now. All I would say is that stay positive and feel happy from within. An illness tries to take your courage down, don't let that happen. Take care, I will pray for you.

veronica_jones1 Hi Res, hope you are doing great! Yes, I have also been diagnosed with PCOD about 3 months back and it made me way too depressed because I was so scared that I did not ask anything from my doctor. It was later when I visited again I asked her all the questions I had. So let me just share my views on this problem. See you need to understand that PCOD is not a disease rather it is a condition which will be with your throughout your life. It is just a hormonal imbalance and can be healed but it requires patience and determination. So first and most important thing is acceptance as only acceptance of this problem will begin your healing process. Secondly, make changes in your diet pattern and your activity levels as well. Let’s talk of diet first so avoid all the processed food, caffeine and aerated drinks. Make it a point to add green leafy vegetables which have lot of iron, fiber and protein in your diet like spinach, kale, eggs etc. Also check your activity level, so if you are hyper active and spend lot of time pumping iron, you need to switch to low intensity exercises. Besides, try having apple cider vinegar as it balances the hormone imbalance in your body so it is a must have. Add green tea and green coffee in your diet and you will feel your mood uplifted in no time. Most importantly talk to your would-be husband and unburden yourself of all the guilt that you are carrying. Last but not the least, you need to understand that you have to power not your condition so don’t get too engrossed in it. Live your life.

bim If you want I can refer you to my friend who has a great experience at Biotextcom so that you can feel what she had experience there. What do you think?

bim This can be a solution to your problem. If you did not want to have IVF, you can have surrogacy. That is a good option too.
