jennybean Max-- THAT is disgusting! Especially since I really don't think that cigarette tobacco is meant to be EATEN!!

Maxine a guy at work (and no im not trying it) told me that if you take a glass of milk and put hot sauce in it the put the tabacco from a cigarette in it and drink that, that it does somethign to your system and you dont think about smoking. I clearly say thats cause you spend the next 7 days puking.

Baggage It's all straws for me. I suck on them, chew on them, and play with them. About the only thing I don't do with them is give myself a PAP. And the only reason I don't is probably because then I'd put it in my mouth. or

salty That's not a bad idea!!! I used to walk around with the glue sticks for a hot glue gun in my pocket and fidgit with them when I was trying to quit.

lovely me tender My friend wrapped her last cig up from her last pack in tape. She taped the whole damn thing. She sits at her desk with the wrapped up cig...acts like she is smoking it. It's been month and she is doing great.

ursula There's a new program out called "Smoke away". They promise results in under a week

What worked for me though and I swear by this was using a cigarette that had been smoked some and put out. I would pretend to smoke it. It was so disgusting that everytime I would do it, I would get pissed b/c it was nasty and put it down. I used those for about 3 weeks. It helped so much!

jennybean I've got a package coming from a good friend with some patches and gum in it, so I'll have to let ya know on the patches. DH bought me some nicotine gum the other night, and it really seems to help calm my nerves some even though it tastes like ass . I'm getting used to it I guess because that taste doesn't seem quite as horrid anymore. I'd rather not get used to it because I don't want to chew too much or get hooked on that.

salty Lovely, I am a firm believer in the Patch! It doesn't work for everyone, because I think it makes some people feel badly, but it was a Godsend for me. Yes, it's pricey, but they do have generic brands that work just as well.

The patch

I want to do it with the patch. I looked at the prices last night in a store and I was shocked. Does this REALLY work. I hate to buy it and not work. What about other products, the smokeless cig or the smoke away program?
