Chatter I'm trying to quit cold turkey. Got to the point I had to brush my teeth after every smoke cuz it tasted nasty.

OverTheTop I'm actually combining weaning and gum. I drove 8 hours Friday and didn't smoke one single cigarette--I chewed the gum all day Saturday, had a couple cigarettes Saturday night and smoked on and off yesterday. I am actually to the point that I almost prefer the gum or nothing at all to smoking and that's a HUGE step because I usually get evil and anxious when I try to quit.

kooolaidred Personally, I weaned down. I cut back one cigarette every five days or so and tried to think about how gross it really, really was while I sat outside and smoked. Good luck!
