hbsmomma 13 months ago I took a HPT that was very negative I checked it for about 20 minutes. About 2 hours later I looked again and saw the second line. Now Baby M is 4 months old. Good Luck.

Limeade It must be the new tests,a friend of mine recently used an ept and it was a + or - too instead of 2 lines.

If you had that much cramping and clotting, I would go ahead and call the dr. for a blood test and exam, to make sure that if you were pg you aren't now (or rather if you are still pg that you get looked at further)

Karollee I've dug pg test out of the trash before thinking they were neg. I have a 2 and 4 year old to prove it

Good Luck!

Madame Merlot Well, please keep us posted.

So was your test today darker or lighter?
02-27-2005 04:39 PM
melissab The first one was lighter but and this way TMI but had clots and stuff. I was very crampy and just didn't feel well the entire time. This past bleeding was also shorter and very heavy with cramping on thursday evening.

Thanks for your help.

Madame Merlot Well, it could be that you didn't have a real period...a lot of women have implantation spotting that they think is their period b/c it happens around the same time. Sometimes the later spotting is the first clue that something is 'differen't.

Was it lighter/shorter than usual? I think getting a follow up w/your doc is a good idea.

Good luck!

melissab I took the test this morning. And thought it was negative. This afternoon when it was taken out of the trash I saw it was positive.

I had one test left over from the beginning of the month. I was two weeks late but ended up getting a period. I thought my cycles were just trying to get back to normal. Well on Thursday I started bleeding again. It was only a week and a few days that I had just finished my first period.

I know it's confusing. I may just end up calling my doctors office in the morning.

Madame Merlot I'm not really sure what you are asking. How was the test when you first took it? Or was that just today?

If you haven't started AF, chances are you could be in early pg Or what you thought was AF was implantation spotting.

Test again tomorrow w/first morning urine.

EPT Test

At the beginning of the month I bought some the EPT tests(I was 2 weeks late). I guess they were new because the directions said that if you got a + in the window is was positive and - was negative.

Anyway I took a test this morning and saw no + and threw it away. About an hour ago the baby got in the bathroom and took the test out of the trash. When I looked at it it was positive. I went to the site to see what it said for the directions but it was still for the two line test instead of the + - test.

I'm concerned I might have had a miscarriage and if so I know there is nothing I can do but I would like to talk with my doctor and make sure everything is ok
