Cremekrisped I am so happy for you family. I know how important it is to feel like everything is back to normal again after what you have gone through.

Best Health wishes to Josh.

Bastian I'm new and I don't know your whole situation but I do know you'll be in my prayers tonight. I'm glad to hear your son is doing so well.

Josh update 11-6

I just thought I would post a quick update. Josh is finally eating again! He is slowly putting some weight back on (up to 108 as of 12 days ago), and we've discontinued his TPN (10 hour IV nutrition)! He has a couple more big chemo days coming, but he should start his maintenance phase by early December. WooHoo! He has an MRI next Monday night, and if the scan shows good news, we can stop his IV antifungals (he'll switch to oral meds). His Birthday is the 16th, and he may just be free of daily IV meds by then!

He has done so well at home. I had myself all prepared for him to spend some time back inpatient (and he did have to go back for a 4 day stay), but he's really been doing great. He will have a short course of a med that may cause high fevers (and some hospital time, possibly), but I know he'll be okay.

You guys have been so wonderful. I know this isn't over, and anything can still happen, but things are so much closer to normal right now. I wasn't sure we would see this kind of normal for a long time. Thank you all.
