Callie I'm so glad for this thread. I'm nursing and have GAINED a little weight since I had dd. And yes, I too am going to get my thyroid checked and everything, but this is great to know. I feel so dumpy.

SmoothieOperator When I weaned I immediately lost 20-25 pounds that I held onto the whole 2 years I nursed her.

Shade My weight didn't change when I weaned, but it was a really slow process.

Shmi Sorry, posted before I was finished. I was going to ask if you lost all the baby weight with nursing; maybe you are the opposite of me? I know a lot of people lose weight when nursing.

Shmi Normally I hold on to some weight while nursing then lose a bunch really quickly when my babies start weaning.

We are really working on weaning, most times it's every other day now.
And I have gained a shit ton of weight. This is my only real change I can attribute my weight gain to...

Yes, I am going for a thyroid check this week, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
