Faster Pussycat He's so gorgeous. Good for you for ignoring the solids thing. I can never tell if I have exceptionally good luck with pediatricians or if I send off a "Fuck you!" vibe, because they never argue with me about my decisions.

Dr. Nurse Poor guy!

MKE Thanks! Look at his poor rashy face. I think he's going to be sent for allergy testing. Blah.

Your little man is pretty darn adorable!

Dr. Nurse oh my look at those big blue eyes.

MKE I forgot to post after J's appt. My doc said to start solids too and I told her I wasn't going to because of J1's food allergies. She was OK with that and said to wait until 6 months. I'm just going to wait and see how I feel then.

SmoothieOperator only 4 months? I swear I though he was 6 or so based on your AV

Callie Four months is ridiculously too young. I'm glad he's doing so well! I want to squish his thighs.

BusyNovember He is so cute. I love the camo diaper.

I too wouldn't worry about what the dr is saying. Momma knows best.

Dr. Nurse omg all the cute babies on this thread and the cute squishy kitty

hyperbabbola Pierced, he's so precious. William started solids around 8 months and look at him now.

Madame Merlot He is adorable. My doc was pretty laid back about solids, told me I could start them at 4 mos but certainly didn't push anything.

Mrs. Chickenhead 4 months is early for solids isn't it? He's so cute! Glad it was a good visit.

Beerhore Sounds like a great appt. Don't stress about the solids. Even though Logan could sit up assisted at that age, I still didn't start them.

MKE Big fella! We must be on the same schedule, Jameson's appt is tomorrow. I'm interested to know what my doc is going to say about solids. J isn't sitting up unassisted yet either and I'm also worried from a food allergy perspective, considering his brother is allergic to everything under the sun. Good for you for saying no.

Dr. Nurse Ugh I am so tired I didn't finish my thought! She told me 'well if he seems hungry and is grabbing at things' , so when he tried to grab the scissors off the table should I just let him have those too? I have no idea what the obsession is with starting solids, it's messy annoying and most babies hate it at first.

Dr. Nurse
4 month appt.

Trenty is 15lbs, 25in, and he's got an average head , basically he's average all down the line. I was expecting him to weigh more but I think he just carries all his weight in his ham thighs . Dr is up my butt about starting solids, I told her it's impossible to feed him solids since he can't sit up assisted yet (he really can't), and finally she agreed with me .

He's not feeling well from his shots so it's been a very blah day .
