I have a tiny little hemangioma on my upper arm that all my babies have liked to twiddle, pinch, and--every one of them--bite when they get the chance   Since it's not a mole, and babies can't say "hemangioma," I call it a "bump." Now that Deirdre's talking, not only does she pick it, she pops off about a million times to say "bump? bump? bump. BUMP. BUUMMMP! Mumma? Mumma? MUMMA! BUMP, MUMMA!" Except when she's saying "Eyes/Nose/Mouth/Hair/Head/Belly Button" and jamming her little fingers into my corresponding parts.

 My first loved to twiddle with the one next to my breast so I started holding my hand over it and just being tense which lasted with all four whether they did it or not. Now my almost 2yo has to touch me and by touch I mean pick at every fucking mole I have. And I have a lot. And she has taught me where I've got some on my back I didn't know about. I've got a dr appt next week and I'm BEGGING to get a referral to get some of these removed. I tried with the first kid and that mole and insurance said no how hard is it to say yes and let them freeze dried a mole for someone? It's on my bra line so it's very much annoying and can bleed without the help of kids.

I don't have pinching but I have a baby that likes to grab my shirt and pull it down over his face or fling his arm around and punch me in the face 100 times. But then he punches everyone (including himself) in the face 100 times every time they hold him.

Maya was a pincher too! I couldn't believe that her little itty bitty fingers could grab this tiny little bit of skin and pinch and it would hurt so badly. As for the mole, I would put a bandaid over it and see if that helps at all. |

Leave the fucking mole on my neck alone  I have this tiny, raised mole on my neck. Daniel tries to pull it off me about 400 times a day Leave it alone! And quit pinching me nonstop! I remember now why I weaned Ben at 10.5 months. Daniel doesn't bite, but the pinching I think it'll be a miracle to make it to 2 with this kid. |
