I have no clue what a CCH user is but I can tell the spirit in which it's being posted.  At my new job I had a problem with our integrated phone system bc when they were entering the starting PIN for me, they somehow mistyped it. The tech guy was thinking that I was as clueless as your user until he tried entering it a bunch of times and it wouldn't work.

OMFD Some people simply should NOT ever, ever, ever go NEAR a computer.  I swear, this user required every bit of patience and tact I posess. Each time I told her to do something, she would repeat it "So you want me to click the start button?" Yes. "OK, so I need to click the start button?" Yes. "Start, right?" yes. OMFD. I need a damn drink I finally gave up and webexed with her. Which took a good ten minutes just to get her in the session  Jeeeeebis. How do people like these operate the software AT ALL, much less prepare billion dollar tax returns? |
